The Strawberry Jazz Festival was a great success, at least for this artist! Sold 7 paintings and 15 matted photos, almost $500 worth! Very good feedback from people. Gave out dozens of business cards and talked to a few people about commission work.
Next step is to email the Arts Council about displaying collection at the local Mall.

Had my first art festival today, the Strawberry Jazz Festival in Kankakee, Illinois. Had lots of good feedback and people taking business cards. Also sold several paintings, and lots of matted photographs! This show really helped validate my art and encouraged me to continue on with producing and creating.

After starting with just two photographs displayed at the Gretchen Charlton Art Gallery in Kankakee, Illinois I have moved up to the art gallery in Watseka, Illinois called "Covered in Paint". I have 9 acrylic paintings and over 20 photographs available there. It is located on the main thoroughfare at 203 East Walnut Drive.
