I shot this photo while out for a long walk at Ali Al Salem airbase while deployed to Kuwait in 2023 and 2024. I like the way the colors complemented each other and decided to capture the image with my iPhone. The window was on a building used by members of the Kuwaiti Air Force, with whom we shared Ali Al Salem. I got to meet a few of them during my time there. There usually seems a mutual respect between servicemembers no matter where they're from. My experiences with the Kuwaitis at Ali were another example of shared respect and understanding among servicemembers of different nations and branches.
